Finally, B.O.B. gets a video for the first single off of his debut album—The Great Adventures of Bobby Ray—which is set to drop April 27. This is honestly one of my favorite singles out right now. Shouts to The Brooklyn Circus; see if you can spot some of their pieces on B.O.B. in the video!

I was thinking about this the other day: the fact that I haven’t heard any new MGMT songs (not including features on other people’s albums) since Oracular Spectacular, which came out in 2007. They’ve performed a few, yes, but correct me if I’m wrong in saying that this is the first song they’ve actually released since their Grammy nominated album. Long long overdue, but here it is; off of their forthcoming album ‘Congratulations,’ due out in April.

My friend from South Carolina has been raving about this dude for a while.

Before they shot either video for this song, I remember Cudi talking about the video for “Pursuit of Happiness” and describing this video as the official one. He should have kept it that way.

Here’s another collaborative effort between Cudi and Snoop. There was speculation that the track was produced by Dr. Dre, but the actual producer was Rashad “Ringo” Smith, according to Cudi’s blog . The track will be a ‘deleted scene’ on Cudi’s upcoming album “Cudder and the Revolution of Evolution.”

Cudi’s Cleveland cohort Chip Tha Ripper made a video for his song, “Like That,” off of his 2009 mixtape The Cleveland Show. The song has a chilled-out feel and the video is simple and matches well with it…I can dig it. Although, some people feel have criticized the song because it uses the same sample as Nas’s “Take It In Blood” off of his 1996 album It Was Written…

After insane amounts of hype and anticipation, it’s officially here: Drake’s first single off of his forthcoming debut album ‘Thank Me Later.’ To be honest, it kind of caught me off guard at first; it’s just not really what I expected. Last week, San Francisco based group A, B & The Sea (@abandthesea) and its lead vocalist Koley O’Brien (@koleyooo) began following me on Twitter, and I’m glad they did. I had never heard of them, but I’m always looking for fresh sounds and new talent. A, B & The Sea describes their own sound as pop/indie/surf or “Surf Pop” and the music does indeed give off a modern Beach Boy-ish vibe. However, these Wisconsin natives definitely have a sound of their own and I highly recommend checking it out. They’ve released two singles recently, “Yellow Haired Girl” and “Bone Dry,” both of which can be downloaded HERE for free or streamed below. Leave some comments and let me know what you think of these gentleman.
