This is possibly the most delayed interview of all time. I catch myself saying that a little too often, but this time I have a good reason (i.e. the hacking). Cookie Kalkair is an amazing illustrator/graphic designer from Paris, France. He has been working with many great up and coming bands, and has even blessed us with some super amazing custom made wedoitrightmag.com iPhone wallpapers (I will be dropping them on this Friday!!). I like him because his work is unique, and he is a spectacular person, who is humble and ever so friendly. I had him answer a few questions for our feature. One last thing, Cookie, thank you for your patience. I sincerely apologize for making you wait so long.
Favorite Eatery: “There’s a nice spot in Venice Beach, California called Café Collage on Pacific Avenue. I try to live without their fresh made cakes, but it’s really hard - believe me.”
Favorite Icon: “Tom Savini, he the artist behind the poster of Night Of the Living Dead.”
One Dish He Can Cook Well : “After living 2 years with a Vietnamese girl, I learned two important lessons : “eat spicy” and “eat rice”. So even a year later, I continue to cook some spicy egg fried chicken at home.”
One Book He Recommends: “The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. It’s a love story through time and space. How could you ask for more?”
